Maverick is a young (~12-18 months) probably purebred black Labrador Retriever impounded in a local shelter for running loose. He was transferred to Canine Solutions 5/24 to be fostered until the right home for him comes along. He has a nice thick coat and a handsome head. He gets along well with the other dogs. He loves everyone and shows his affection by leaning on your leg. He is an active dog, but not hyper. He enjoys running loose in the fields with the pack, coming when called. He likes to swim even in our nearby river. I have not yet determined if he is house trained, but he has kept his crate clean. He stands around 22 inches and weighs around 60 pounds. Maverick has been neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots. Adoption fee $250.
